Guest guest
I don't think you are being paranoid...it costs a lot for a band and you don't want to have to re-band (for an additional $3000)! I would think soft is better for their head but I'm not positive. It seems like a lot of positioners that are suppose to prevent plagio are made of memory foam (which would be soft). If the head rest in the car seat makes you feel better use it. I really don't think that in 5 days time his head will regress although I know for me my eyes would play tricks on me! My son wore a DOC band 7.5-9.5 months and at 13 months I had to take him back because I was certain he regressed. Well, after the appt. it was said that he didn't. We were also told at 13 months that it would be very unlikely for him to regress. Does have unresolved tort? Where you guys going on vacation?...hopefully, somewhere fun?!? Hopefully, others will chime in with ideas and thoughts.
