Guest guest
I want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes. It really meant a lot to me. I had a good day, with people at work coming up unexpectedly and wishing my a good day, spending time with a former professor and friend, as I talked to her class at the University of Northern Iowa today, then coming home to a surprise party given to me by some friends at church. This was an amazing birthday, as many of mine have gone by unnoticed by everyone besides my mom, so your wishes made the day special. Laurie, I am afraid I am following in your footsteps. Yours too, Nikki. I am now in a right wrist splint after a fall at work today. I stood up for a minute to get some books ready for my students. Next thing I new I was on the ground. I called into another teacher to help me. By the time I left work, my neck, arm, wrist, shoulder, and back were bad enough that I had to go into the doctor. I have a lot of bruised and pulled muscles and sprains. I am in the wrist splint and am supposed to be getting a soft neck brace to help some of the healing. I don't have to be in it all the time, as we don't want my neck to become dependent on it. It certainly kept the day interesting! :-) Thanks again for the birthday wishes.
