I don't think any of us were taking from this clip that the new

Starscan laser is going to replace anyone or anything. I posted this

link so that people can share with others what we are going through

with our children. A lot of people don't understand what the big deal

is to have a flat or misshapen head. Having something people can see --

like this clip -- helps to show them why it's a problem and what's

being done about.

I used to be a court reporter and would get very defensive when

computerized recording machines made it into the courtroom. I was very

intimidated.

As I learned then, there will always be a need for humans, even when

lasers and digitized technology is on its way.
