I was wondering if it could possibly have anything to do with my medication. I just started taking Paxil 8 days ago. The dr said tha tit was safe for nursing and they even use it during pregnancy. Does anyone know if it causes supply problems? what is the link to htat dr's site about drugs and nursing?

<grin> I've been there! Just keep nursing whenever you can. He's verylikely preparing for yet another growth spurt, and your supply will totallycatch up in a day or so. I haven't heard of Paxil causing low supply but here is his website. :)http://neonatal.ttuhsc.edu/lact/ My guess is that as your supply is regulating your baby is making sure that it doesn't regulate too low and is keeping everything stimulated. He could be having a growth spurt again, my babies never stuck with the predictable growth spurt patterns. Just keep nursing him as much as possible and watch the diaper count to assure yourself that he is getting plenty. He should have at least 5 very wet disposable diapers per day or 6-8 wet cloth diapers. :) HTH
