Hi, My name is Amy and I am taking care of my 55 year old mother. (DX 06/98 w/ SDS). (Loretta). I wanted to comment on the Wellbutrin. My mom is on the lowest dose of Celexa. I noticed her showing signs of depression so I asked the Doc to prescribe this for her. I spent years in the medical field and part of that was in mental health/meds. I myself currently take wellbutrin in the am. But only 1 a day. 150mg

If I take 2 I feel as if I am going crazy, tooo high strung. I also smoke (more here recently). My question is how much are you taking a day! And how long! Also a big side effect with withdrawl is headache and feeling rather keyed up. That is if you stop taking it abruptly . It also might not jive with your other meds! Hope I can help?

Do you have another Dr that you feel comfortable with or is this the new

one that you think you're going to like? It seems like you should have

someone monitoring you while you are on this fairly closely.

I'm concerned about the seizure history and the fact that you have not

been feeling well at all this week. Is there any way you can have your

levels checked? Maybe there is an adjustment period or maybe you are

just having a bad week. Are you keeping an account in diary form so you

will be able to document how you feel.

Make sure if you are taking 150 mg twice a day that there is at least 8 hours between the doses.
