Guest guest
I've never heard of monthy " evaluations " ...has the PT given you any exercises or stretches to do for the other motor delays she has concerns about? If not, I would request some. Depending on the severity of the motor delays, once a month doesn't sound like enough. Are your PT services through the early childhood intervention program with your state? If so, you can request more frequent visits. Most PTs are going to give you exercises to do multiple times per day at home and will basically monitor you doing the exercises at your visits (usually once a week or so). I would request more frequent visits, so that as your daughter makes progress, the PT can adjust the exercises and stretches she's having you do so that they are appropriate for her current skill level. Good luck! Guest guest
I have a 7 month old son who goes to PT once a week for tort. Our PT is not at all concerned about him pushing up to a crawl since many non-tort babies do not have this skill at 7 month anyway. We focus on tummy time, sitting, and rolling. If your daughter consistently tilts and shows no progress I would definitely want more PT time and stretches/exercises at home. I hope you see some progress soon!
