I am also the oldest of three. I have a brother and sister. Cry on my shoulder anytime. Barb -- Loss I lost my mother the day after Christmas. It has been and still is the hardest thing I have ever gone through. I am the oldest of five children (and the ONLY GIRL), so my mother and I had a very special bond. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't say OUT LOUD, "I MISS MY MOM." I don't know why I told y'all this...but sometimes it makes me feel to tell someone. Thanks for letting me cry on your shoulder. It is the 26th of this month. I also have not experienced Christmas without her. That, I am sure, will be difficult as she passed away on the 26th of December last year. I am so saddened to hear about your dad! I breaks my heart to hear you going through that. My father is not in good health either. Four years ago he had a heart transplant! I feel awful because I do not see him often as I life in NC and he is in Wisconsin. It is the same guilt I had when my mother passed away. Although she and I spoke on the phone ALL the time, I regret not being near her. Especially when she died. I will send prayers your way! I had this problem with my eyes about 3 months ago...same thing...I don't really know what it is. Glad to hear your allergies are a little better. Hugs, loss congrats on the 2 lb loss, and sorry about the allergies. I know how your feeling, I have them too but not with the swelled eyes, just throat and nose, but seems to be getting better tonight. thats a good way to start the new year. Hugs, Randie loss Hi All, I had a .75 loss last night putting me at 2 below goal and walking 8 miles and 4 flights of stairs at the VA yesterday. I think that it what I gained last week.??
