My mammo showed DCIS but when I went to see the surgeon she discovered a lump on the same breast. I knew I had it for the past 2+ years but my doctor said I was just lumpy. Needless to say that was IDC. I thought about it and read ALOT on breastcancer.org and told my sureon I wanted a mastectomy. She agreed completely. Erradicate the situation. I have no regrets. Even though I am single and 46 and still attractive. If men can't deal with it, it's THEIR problem. I'm okay with me! peace..................kimmy
