Guest guest
Excused due to illness. Exercise 1 hour walking all over Sam Houston University with my friend on Monday as she got registered and yes it made me VERY out of breath. She owes me!I have cut WAY down on my diet soda intake. I have only had 3 or 4 since last Thursday and I'm very happy about that. I've been drinking a lot of water, iced tea, and Crystal Light to Go which I really love! Drinking only water gets boring sometimes.Have a great week everyone. Sorry you are still not feeling well. I can identify with being short of breath sure is an inconvenience isn't it? Glad you have gotten your diet drinks cut back and doing better things for you. Hang in there we need someone to wart!!!! Betty
Guest guest
Just 18 days until we move out of "the construction site" and into a nice, quiet, CLEAN complex! * * , you may just find out that all of that construction around you is what is causing your breathing problems!! If so, you should sue the apartment complex for the cost of your doctor bills & medication!!! ((HUGS)) Clara
Guest guest
Just take it slow with the exercise. I am getting where I can walk now with out getting out of breath also. I started back on my walking routine now. I have been going to the school track and walk. I have just been able to walk around once but that is one more than I use to could walk. So that is a start. Guest guest
Thank you Elaine! This is a new TOPS week for me so I have decided to make a fresh start and after work I'm going for a walk. It will feel great to be back to walking again. Funny how I missed it when I couldn't do it but when I could do it I didn't miss it! LOL! I moved boxes the other day and, at first, my breathing bothered me but then it started to get better. Maybe exercise is actually the key to breathing better! LOL! Who knows. I guess I will let you know tomorrow! KOPS HUGS, Re: Roll Call/Exercise () Just take it slow with the exercise. I am getting where I can walk now with out getting out of breath also. Guest guest
~ Glad to hear your breathing was fine with all the huffing and puffing of moving !!!!!!! AND glad your 'baby' made it through the surgery fine and even though she doesn't look good now she's going to be soooooo much better later !!!!!! Did she have to spend the night at the vet's ~ glad you're off the next few days to nurse her !!!!! Can't wait until we get the 'Adventures of dom' !!!!!!!!!! I know it will be FASCINATING !!!!!!!! Roll Call/Exercise () Excused this week. 10 hours of exercise! YES...10 hours of exercise. Between packing, moving, cleaning, unpacking, etc. this week I am going to say 10 hours of FULL ON exercise. My body is so sore. I'm not used to this. The good news is my breathing was perfectly fine THANK GOD. I will tell you all about the HE** I've went through the last two days in part one of ADVENTURES OF GEORGEDOM due out tonight sometime. Whatever could go wrong...did! It's mostly off topic but if you wanna laugh...READ IT! LOL! I'm excused this week for various reasons. I will list them later. Jordan, my 3 1/2 year old Chihuahua, had her right patella repair surgery yesterday. I should not have scheduled her surgery on the week of the move but I did and I was stressed about it all day yesterday but everything went perfect. Her leg looks horrible. She has a cone on her head and is very groggy and just lays around. She looks horrible and I feel terrible but it had to be done before it got worse. I will spend the next 7 days taking care of her before I have to return to work. I will send pictures of her and her war wound to the loops that can receive them later. More soon! Off to unpack and put this place together.

Guest guest
~ Aren't you worth spending a little money on ??? If you have to continue the Protonix longer !!!! Look what you did for your 'baby' ~ doesn't she need her 'daddy' well !!!!! LOL !!!!!! Hugs, Randie RE: Roll Call/Exercise () I know right! ! ! I thought the same thing. The good news is I refilled my Protonix for the nighttime acid reflux last night and I'm breathing better today. I don't know if it's a fluke or if it's because I got back on the medication. I will just believe it's because I got back on the medication. I ran out on the 6th and the next day is when the problems started up again so I'm sure it was because of the medication. My doctor never said to keep taking it but she did allow two more refills. I then read a book about Protonix in the pharmacy last night and it said a typical dose is supposed to be taken for 8 weeks and if you still have symptoms another 8 weeks. I only took them for 4. My fault! It also states that your doctor can up the dosage. I'm taking 40mg but they go to 240mg so I know all hope is NOT lost! It says in some rare cases you have to take them forever! Oh well. I'll be out 35.00 a month for the rest of my life but atleast I can breath! Thanks,

Guest guest
I lost 4.75 lbs. this week. I exercised 300 minutes this week. I walked EVERY night 1- 2 miles. It felt great to get back out there again. I ate great (and the same) everyday and drank over 80 oz. of water a day. No late night eating. Target weight loss for next week is 1 lb. That's doable. 5.25 lbs. left to reach my March pledge. I have 11 lbs. left to lose to get back in leeway. I'm a KOPS out of leeway but on medical excuse until August 1. I'm looking forward to walking tomorrow night. Saturday my mom and I are having a garage sale and I know I am going to get plenty of exercise there! ! ! I hope you all have a wonderful week! ! ! Guest guest
SUPER FANTASTIC TERRIFIC WONDERFUL going !!!!!!! Knew you could get yourself back in gear and lose the weight !!!!! If y'all didn't leave so far away I'd try to make it to y'all's garage sale !!!! (Course, here I'm trying to declutter !!!!) GUT I AM really happy for you !!!!!!!! Hugs, Randie Roll Call/Exercise () I lost 4.75 lbs. this week. I exercised 300 minutes this week. I walked EVERY night 1- 2 miles. It felt great to get back out there again.I ate great (and the same) everyday and drank over 80 oz. of water a day. No late night eating.Target weight loss for next week is 1 lb. ! !
