keeping them rear facing as long as possible is definitely the safest.

It seems to be one of the other secrets doctors keep :-) I always

heard that they had to be rear facing until 1 yr or 20 lbs and assumed

they should switch after that. but really that is when they MUST be

rearfacing, but they SHOULD be rear facing longer. of course by the

time I learned this sydney was already forward facing for a while.
