I did use to have that cracking hands problem when I owed pet shop- due to my hands being in the aquariums so much- but havent had that since I closed shop......... I dont get a thick skin at all over it or anything, just a crack- the skin that falls/flakes off- is hmmmm so hard to explain this..... its as if oooooooo like an eraser leaves when you've erased a lot of writing on a piece of paper. Thin, very thin..... Hugs, TJ Hi TJ is this the deep cracks that bleed? I recently have had this happen on both of my thumbs.... the skin cracked where it was really thick...and it HURT!!! I put triple antibiotic on both cracks for several days and they are healing. First the left thumb cracked and then the right one. The thick skin also came off after a few days.
