They designed the doc band using specific plactics and plastic

thicknesses to get just the right hold. After 4 months the hold is

minimal if not gone. Some kids grow out before 4 months. If they

don't grow out CtT tells them to take it off. After 3 months you

could tell Kiersten's did not have as much oomf as in the

beginning. It's one of their strict protocols.
