Guest guest
Hi Alice, No she is not doing any better yet. Dr. Boles has ordered some more tests and we are waiting for them to find a nursing agency who can send someone out to draw blood for the tests. he doesn't want her to come into the hospital due to further exposure. She just lays and sleeps. It is so scary. was on the up hill swing until yesterday. He had a huge dysautonomic episode which sent his heart into tacticardia and the muscle wall into spasms. He was screaming from the pain he was in, so I called Dr. Boles who had us call paramedics and take him in for a strip. Luckily it was just the dysautonomia, but he is wiped out again. So he is home sleeping now as well. I am getting concerned about Kira because even though we have her on continuous feeds, her output is not up to what it should be. She is passing blood through her stoma, clots which is a mess to deal with. We just recently changed her from a cath to a mikey button on her g-tube. I have called G-I and am waiting to hear if I should be concerned about the clots. She is getting a little blood up in her mouth at times as well. I am soooo tired, but I am afraid to sleep for fear she will need me and I won't hear her. I made a bed on her floor so I am by her and put in Krisalynns bed and put Krisalynn in our bed. I feel like I am about ready to drop though. I darn near fell asleep today in my class. My husband is the walking dead right now. DR Boles nurse is having a hard time finding a nursing agency that is OK with our insurance that does peds. I am sooooo frustrated!!!!!! Thanks for asking though. I am sitting here trying to research some stuff for my class on the California gold rush. LOL I am being put to sleep! LOL Hugs O

Guest guest
Hi , I'm so sorry your family is going through such a tough time. I hope Kira pulls through this very soon. I'm totally at the other end of the country so I can't help you in your home but I can help you with lesson plans. I have a Masters in museum education and have taken all the education courses for an el ed degree. I have created full curriculum plans for several teacher friends of mine that don't have time to do all the research themselves. If you told me what you were teaching and what the requirements were, I could help you with the research and dittos and such. Your precious free time should not have to be spent researching the gold rush. Let me know if I can help. S
Guest guest
I am so sorry for you. Sometimes being a mom is so very painful and yet we would never trade their not being there. If there is anything I can do to help, just holler - just don't ask me to do another IEP. I would be glad to some lesson prep for you or whatever else can be done long distance. I will continue to keep you, hubby and all the kids in my thoughts and prayers. hugs, laruie > From: mitooggo@... > Reply-To: > Date: Tue, 21 Sep 2004 23:13:51 EDT > To: > Subject: Re: Kira? > > Hi Alice, No she is not doing any better yet.
