WOW! Friday. Finally. No homework.

Sebastian's teacher has been at it again. Each day it's been 3 - 4 hours of homework each day this week. Worse is she doesn't teach anything, she just gives homework. There's no homework on Fridays and it's a day I definitely breath easier on.

Anyway, just wanted to let you all guys know that I am really proud of Sebastian. He just passed all his test allowing him to test for the first degree black belt. He did it in record time too. Testing for new rank is every two months, but the higher the rank the longer it takes between testing because there's more to learn and more difficult to pass to the testing. He graduated to a recommended black belt just two months ago and he has now been "invited" to test for the first degree black belt. It'll take place April 2, at 6pm. It's a whole ceremony, if he does everything he's supposed to he will get graduate and get the belt. Few friends and family are invited. I know he can do it and I'm real proud of his achievements. He's not an athletic boy, sports don't come easy to him, so the more so it's a big deal. He's also been better at swimming for all those who remember my heartache from the tournament that took place about two months ago where he was devastated with the huge advantage the other boys won with.

I'm signing off for now. I probably won't view any of my messages over the weekend, so have fun everyone. I promised my hubby a while ago that weekends will be family days and I have been breaking this promise now and then. He's definitely been trying to get my attention so I'll try to be a good girl this weekend, that's if I can stay away from you guys
