Guest guest
Shelby I had 4 frozen biopsies that were not tested for mito. I had my diagnostic fresh biopsy by Shoffner and then had another at CCF, looking for an additional problem that might exist. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Mon, 9 Aug 2004 20:25:26 -0400 > To: > Subject: Muscle biopsy > > Hello, > It appears that might need to have a fresh muscle biopsy done. > Where were yours done? Guest guest
Thanks everyone for your kind words and encouragement, I didn't hear from the neuro yet, I am calling again tomorrow. I am going to see what I can do. I am sure they didn't do all the testing. And there has got to be a reason for my problems. There is medical evidence so they can't dismiss it. Thanks Again I am going to make sure they do the dna testing on it and fight to get answers brenda c
Guest guest
Hey Everyone, I made it through my muscle biopsy at OSU yesterday. They took the sample from my bi-cep muscle. I also found out that it is a fresh biopsy sample and not a frozen sample so I feel more confident about the test. I should get results back in about two weeks they said. Talk to ya'all later. Guest guest
, I'm glad the biopsy is behind you. Now we will all look forward to the report. I hope you are feeling ok and not dealing with much pain from the incision. Alice
Guest guest
Dawn, First Answer, OSU is Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. I have a pretty good Doctor there and a pretty good team of Neuromuscular Doctors. A few of them treated my Aunt who died from ALS in May of 2003, and also my cousin's son who has MITO. The Bible verse was shown to me by my Assistant Pastor at the Church I am a missionary through in Xenia.
