Guest guest
I was in our local health food store today and the woman who works there has become very interested in autism and the diet etc. She says she knows of a doctor in Kinnelon (I didnt catch the name) who works with autistic children and she can't believe how well the dietary interventions work. She feels it really is key in helping the children. She also said that "essential fatty acids" are very helpful and make a big difference. I tried some fish oil with my daughter and I can't even get her to take it. We tried juice (forget it), peanut butter (she still tasted it) I don't know what to do. My question is what are "essential fatty acids" does anyone know or is anyone familiar with how to put this into her diet where do I get them (Obviously the health food store has them), what are they called? I want to know which ones I should try. I need help with this one I have absolutely no clue. Anybody? Guest guest
Hi, Barbara: I'm ready to share what I know about EFA but I'm too tired to write right now. My number is , call me if you like and we could talk. The best time is this Sunday between 4 and 6 pm. Or during the same hours Mon thru Fri. I have books where this subject is discussed in detail, etc. I'd like to find out more about the doctor you mentioned. Guest guest
Natasha, Thanks for answering. My older two kids are home from school between 4 and 6 (I also leave for work 3 x's per week by 5:45) so if you could just e mail me your opinion on how they have worked for your child. What you think etc that would be fine. I orderd some Coromega from Kirkman Labs last night. says it is pretty good and they advertise no "fishy" taste. I will give it a try. Take Care, Barbara Sellix Re: "Essential Fatty Acids" Hi, Barbara:I'm ready to share what I know about EFA but I'm too tired to writeright now. My number is , call me if you like and wecould talk.
