Speaking of swollen glands, the ones that surround my jaws are giving me

fits over the last few days, especially with the onset of much colder

weather, and I feel like there's a golf ball in the entire throat, but not

on the inside of the throat. It makes me feel like something is being cut

off to my head, as in blood circulation. It's happened before, and I just

hit the aspirin or the ibuprophen or the other one that's now OTC, and it

helps. Then it magically goes away, poof!! Frustrating!!

You are still on a pretty low dose of thyroid. It does not correct itself

quickly. Ear ringing is one of the things that seems to hang on forever for

the people that have it. If your tests show you to still be hypo an increase

would be much better than stopping. Hypothyroid WILL ruin your life if not

take it if it is untreated or undertreated. It does not go away, or get

better by itself. I often experience the swollen lymph nodes all around that

area, I really think that is an autoimmune flare up. I take aspirin and more

thyroid and that seems to end it quicker than anything. Hang in there.

Mine is one of the ones whose earringin may be permament. It's been there

since 1998, which included a severe vertigo for several wks. This was the

exact time that I started feeling so bad, gradually into the next 2 yrs

after that. I think that was the " middle beginning " , since I'd already had

known hypo for 5 yrs before that, with seemingly no problems at all, after

starting on Synthroid. Nothing was the same for me, after the ear bout.
