Another thing about Benadryl is, it will make you even more Drowsy than normal due to the mixture of the medications that you are on. My Pain Doctor said that if you are taking a Pain Med, a Muscle Relaxer and an Antidepressant.......with or without an Anti-seizure med.......adding Benadryl will Make you REALLY Drowsy!! So, when taking it to help with the Itching that you have, Please make sure that you don't have anything else to do except lay down for a while!!!

They have the Benadryl Gel that you can rub on the areas that you itch at.....that won't make you drowsy. Sometimes that might be a better idea than taking the pills.

Yvonne,I sometimes get very irritated with tampons, but pads are worse, so I continue to use the tampons. That could be causing the irritation/itching.
