Guest guest
a, I am sorry, I meant to respond to this one but forgot:( I also had a hysterectomy when I was 40 and they left the ovaries in. At 44 I had blood work done and it showed I had already gone through menopause. So, I guess you could say that was a pretty early menopause. I also had no real symtomps. I had always said I would do this thing with no problems and I was right. I sweat profusely most of my life, so if I ever had any hot flashes it would of been hard to tell! ha Everytime I exert my muslces I break out into a sweat, Nothing to do with menopause. Guest guest
I experienced early menopause at the age of 38 years of age. I ended up having a hysterectomy Feb 2004 due to non-stop bleeding for eight weeks, 5 cm ovarian cyst for 5 months and endometriosis whi returned for the sixth time. Guest guest
and Betsy. Thanks for the information. One thing the doctor was wondering about is if anyone else with a hysterectomy that left ovaries went into early menopause. In your case, you did. Of course, we don't know if that was the reason or not . . . The nurse practitioner took blood to test my hormone levels. I doubt that I am going through it, as I am 28 (hysterectomy at 25), but we will see! Thanks again!
