Guest guest
Hi :-) Thanks for the yogurt idea. I sometimes can get to pureed foods with yogurt after an initial period on liquids. I have tried that a couple of times already in the past month and not been able to do it without pain, so I am waiting awhile to try it again. I don't pretend to understand why one food will bother me and another won't. It makes no sense to me at all. I seem to be handling non fat milk and non fat frozen yogurt, with only a twinge of pain. But I can't eat it all day, either. I have to space it with a lot of juices in between. Why I can handle that okay but have trouble if I add a pureed peach to it, I don't know. I also can eat tomato soup without pain but can't handle the acid. I can handle low fat homemade broth, but not the veggies in it. Any fat is an automatic pain trigger. I seem fairly stable right now, and got a good night's sleep last night. I am hoping to keep trying new ideas, but also have to pace myself or I go too fast and set myself back. I like the applesauce w cinnamon idea...thanks. We don't have those stores here in Massachusetts, but we have Whole Foods and when I am doing better, I can do their store made tomato soup and squash soup. We make home made beet soup that is low fat that I was handling. I will have to try it again. :-) Adam > Dear Adam, > So sorry that your serious digestive problems continue.
