These could definitely be symptoms of fibroids. To

know for sure, they will do an ultrasound to find them

and measure them if they are there. I had multiple

smaller fibroids for quite a while. I couldn't feel

them from the outside but the ultrasounds showed them

and my symptoms were very bad. I was always very

bloated and looked like I had a pouch (like I was pg).

Then one night, when I was lying down, I felt this

huge lump in my abdomen. One of the fibroids had

grown to the size of a grapefruit in the month since I

had seen my doc. I would try to make your appt. with

your doc sooner than February so that you can find out

either way. Good luck.

Anne, in general I don't think we can tell from feeling our

abdomens whether or not we have fibroids. There are a number of

things that can make our abdomens seem larger than usual and it

really takes a doctor and an full exam, often along with an

ultrasound, to make a definitive diagnosis. Have you seen a doctor

for this yet?

Best,

Leonie
