Guest guest
> Kathleen ~ So sorry to hear of hubby's situation !!! Thought he was doing better ~ but he's like my hubby ~ > does NOT want to take time as the dr suggests !!!!! I am so sorry to hear he's in so much pain !!!!! Will keep him > and your MIL in my prayers ~ you as well, of course !!!! Thanks for the prayers and everything, Randie. He gets better then gets worse. He was doing pretty well yesterday, but apparently was on his feet a little too long as he is very sore again today. The bruising is almost gone so his leg looks much better. Even I didn't think he really overdid it yesterday, but he said this morning it was more sore than he had expected. Also, I hate to hear of your little granddaughter !! > Course, she's young and will heal sooner than the rest of us would !!!!! Her eye is turning dark, but isn't a full-blown shiner yet. There's a pretty good-sized abrasion surrounding the outer edge of her eye socket. It will scab over at some point soon. Next week is Spring Break so she won't suffer the shiner quite so publicly. Hehe. She is at the dentist's right now to make sure she didn't do any more damage other than losing that baby tooth prematurely. Her big sister also took a similar tumble at church at the same age only did some major damage to a permanent tooth that will eventually most likely lead to her losing that front tooth. She's already had a root canal done to that tooth and the one next to it due to the massive infection doing damage. She had some kind of restorative procedure to make it look " normal " again and something else to the rest of the tooth to try to save it. Some " cutting edge " technology that I don't remember the name of. It looks normal, though. And that's important to everyone at any age, but especially when you're young. Maybe we need to keep them out of church gyms. LOL. The older one's problem is why her parents are playing it safe with this one. Although they took the oldest one to the dentist when she chipped that tooth. The dentist just didn't find the deeper damage. It just appeared to be a simple chipped tooth at the time. A big chip, but it didn't look any more severe than that. Appearances can be deceiving. > BUT CONGRATS on your blouse being too big !!!! SUPER !!!!!!!! Blessings and hugs, Randie Thank you! It is so much fun to be wearing smaller clothes! On the bright side, my glass is still more than half-full. While little sister is at the dentist with her Daddy I will be going to pick up the 10 year old darling at noon today because of early release. You see how my glass is more than half-full of joy! We plan on having a fun time tomorrow. Don't know just yet what we'll do, but we'll do something fun with as much of the family as possible. DH and I want to buy a small motorhome or camper and toodle around the country. I would just LOVE to go surprise Melody tomorrow in Seguin, but it isn't to be. Much love to everyone. Have some fun today! Kathleen
