Hi everyone!

I came home yesterday at one in the afternoon by ambulance. Mom and I

have

been reading and finally caught up all the e-mails from the RA list .

..........We

haven't received any e-mails for today so we were wondering if onelist is

down.

Mom and I are trying to get on some kind of schedule because I have to be

flipped every 2 hours. I am lying two hours at a time on each side and two

hours

prone. Mom has mastered the cathing we think LOL........90% of the time.

She

has always successfully cathed me but sometimes takes her awhile to find the

right spot.

Pain Management was my main hold up in coming home. The surgeon wanted

them

to prescribe the pain meds for me. It took them several days to finally

come up and

adjust the meds. I stopped the Demerol on Thursday night and

am wearing a Duragesic Pain Patch that we change every 72 hours. I also am

on Darvosot for pain. I still can't urinate on my own but sometimes my

stomach

feels really crampy and I know that I need to be cath. Nurse said that that

may

actually be a good sign......perhaps bladder is waking up. Before I had no

indication that I had to go. If I still can't urinate on

my own by Wednesday then I have to go back to Urologist to have the

Uro-dynamic

test done.

I am allowed to sit up only 5 mins. a day right now. And it hurts! I

am becoming

a tv watcher LOL.......LifeTime has really good movies on it hehehee. And

Nick

at Night is my Friend. The computer is in my bedroom so Mom reads the

e-mails

to me.

I have over 300 or more pictures that Mom and I have to put in an

album. We

do creative memory type pictures and it takes quite awhile to do them. So,

Mom

and I will be busy working on them. I take pictures of

everything.......well, I'm in

charge of that cause I really can't do the camera anymore...........but I

love pictures!
