While I am still able to continue to work my 2 1/2 hours a day at school, I have been having more issues lately, which is keeping life interesting! I saw my PCP yesterday for a number of topics to discuss. After talking for awhile, he mentioned early menopause and the nurse practitioner (who has been wonderful) wondered if people with mitochondrial disorders had any history of early menopause. When I was 35, my doc told me I was starting early menopause and I had really bad periods. I started taking the three vits above and at 48, my hormone levels are perfectly normal again.
