Hello everyone :) I'm Kerri in Oklahoma. I haven't posted in some time because

things were progressing so slowly I really had nothing much to say. In order to

afford this surgery, I have had to mortgage my home, and the process is finally

almost over. I should have all the paperwork turned in by friday, and (god

willing) the loan should come through within two or three weeks after that. Then

I will use half to pay off my student loans, and the other half for the surgery.

It feels good to finally be at this step, where the money is almost in hand. I'm

sure you all sympathize with the many varieties of hoops all of us have to jump

through in order to make WLS happen. *sigh* I'm coming to the last group of

hoops--the mortgage coming through, making sure the doctors still have all my

info on file so I don't have to start the process over at the seminar stage,

then the Big 5, then, knock on wood, I'll get my surgery date. Even though I

haven't been posting, I have been reading nearly everything everyone else posts

:) I'm sure I'll be participating considerably more in the near future :)
