hypothyroid for years has it's own set of symptoms and problems! Like poor T3

conversion, and resistance to normal amounts of thyroid meds. Part of it is just

I think the receptors shut down for lack of use after a while. Your body tries

to adjust to the lower hormones and it will take longer to feel well ( & WAY more

meds) than a person that is first diagnoses & treated right away. I have been on

Armour straight for 6 years now and am still seeing a slow improvement, but it

is very slow the remaining symptoms I have. The first year was miraculous and

then it has been steadily getting better since then, but still not completely

resolved. I went 25 years on none & Synthroid which is like none to me.
