Dear Sandy,

I experienced no growth at all in the six months that I followed a macrobiotic

diet. I don't know if it was the diet, or just plain luck...but when I went off

the macrobiotic diet my fibroids grew. I also lost 20 lbs. on the diet which

greatly reduced the feeling of pressure in my low abdomen.

I found it very difficult to follow the diet which omits eggs, cheese, dairy,

meat plus night shades vegetables like eggplant and tomatoe and also no bananas!

I especially found it difficult to cook meals for my family who didn't want to

be macrobiotic and cook the macrobiotic diet for myself. I was cooking all the

time!

Now I am scheduled for focused ultra sound and do so enjoy my bananas and

yogurt!

Best of luck to you and Happy New year~

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone on the list has been successful in either shrinking

fibroids or preventing the growth of new fibroids through strict dietary

adherence and regular exercise (yes it is time for those new year resolutions).

Considering this option for myself and want to know if any success can be

achieved this way. And if anyone has had success, was it a published meal

plan/diet (please provide book title or www link)? Thanks and Happy New Year to

all.

Sandy
