It just never ends!

and her friend got into a car accident Sat evening.

had gone car shopping with her friend, and driving home, right off

the lot, a guy turned left without yeilding in an intersection, and

they hit him. She did a great job of avoiding a terrible crash, and

only got minimal damage to her new car. But, the other guys car is

pretty smashed.

When Tom and I got there, they were giving the guy the drunk test,

and boy, was he drunk. Apparently, he tried to pull 's

friend out of the car after it happened.

His friend was also drunk.

And, they were both Russian, and hardly spoke any English at all.

We have a lot of Russian immigrants here. They had only been here

for a week. The passenger was yelling something in Russian, and

really intimidating the girls. Tom said it sounded like he kept

saying something about the Russian mafia. He kept looking at the

girls and pointing at them, yelling something.

Needless to say, they were pretty scared. They didn't do anything

wrong, and had many witnesses to confirm that. Just two young girls

driving home from the car lot, with a brand new - first car.

Anyway, now is pretty sore. She's hurt from the seatbelt.

And, something pulled in her neck and back.

So, I'm hoping I can get Mike over here tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!

I'll e-mail him and see if he's free. Maybe he can work a bit on

as well.

What's really sad is that 's friend is the sister of our

friend who died last year at this time. So, they've been dealing

with that.

The new car was a real boost at this very sad, hard time.

Now 's friend is also hurting, and on top of that, she has

the flu. So, her new car is really turing out to be no big deal!

We keep thinking that nothing else could possibly go wrong. Then,

it does. These poor kids just can't get a break!
