It is mine too now! I don't need the issues that Dylan needs but I am sure a company that will custom fit has to be a criteria. Thanks for the input! Dylan and I had some input to what kind of chair, but the OT and PT did most of the decision making. Their knowledge of what was needed amazed me. He will be getting an electric with 6 wheels. Reclines, raising foot rests, adjustable arms, the picked the seat, the back, the arms, everything. His comfort and support was their main concern. It will also have a detachable table for school work, should he ever be able to get back. They did allot of body measurements. Like the distance from his butt to his knees, his butt to his shoulders. Elbow to set (for arm rest height). Just so many things. It will be ready in April. The OT and PT where not so much concerned with the brand of the chair, but more it was decided on the chair that offered him the options they thought he needed. They have a really low profile and only itty bitty wide. The wheels can angle out (for racing I guess.. LOL Right I'm gona join a team tomorrow!) I think they are called COLOURS.
