Guest guest
Hi Tracey, I was diagnosed having fibromyalgia back in 1999. There were times that I suffered badly. A couple years ago I went on a huge diet (AGAIN) and lost 83 pounds and ever since I have not had MUCH trouble with my fibromyalgia even though I gained ALL that weight back plus 5 pounds. I had my RNY in July of this year and have lost 75 pounds, and so far I feel GREAT. I am still having trouble with my left foot that people said would get better when I lost weight (actually it's gotten worse). If you have not been diagnosed as having fibromyalgia, I would make an appointment to see a rheumatologist, it may be that you have something else going on, maybe even RA, which my Mom had that really bad and she was NEVER over weight. I hope things will get better for you, but please see a speacilist if you are having too much pain, pain is a sign of something wrong and no one should suffer.
