Guest guest
well actually it started Sunday morning when I woke up to find I was seeing big black splotches. Looked in the mirror, eye looked OK BUT this happened to me once before and I went to the hospital with a possible brain tumor. Well to make that long story short the ended up putting a shunt into my spine and stomach so the spinal fluid would drain that way since the opening in my brain were closed. Went to my eye doctor who did my laser surgery back in October, he takes one look into it and says he can't do a single thing for me. He is sending me to a Retina specialist. I asked him what would he do and he said they were a few things, one being to put a needle in my eye. Well I about passed out on that one. In my worst nightmares I can't see myself letting anyone do that. He seen how shaken I was with that answer so then he just said you need to talk to him. I go next Monday. I am sur I am losing sight in that eye. It's half gone now. On top of all that both my feet are hurting me really bad now. Been taking the pills I got from the ER but they don't seem to be helping much. I hope I didn't bite off more than I can chew by saying I will be going to SRD and also IRD. At least with SRD I won't have to walk in an airport. Seems like you walk 2 miles in them. Sure hope tomorrow is better. Love ya,
Guest guest
, I will surely be praying for you and hoping everything is going to be o.k. That is very scary indeed to think about a needle or anything coming close to your eye. Diabetes is a terrible illness and can cause so many problems. Good luck to you with all the tests. We leave tomorrow afternoon for our trip to the Holy Land with our pastor and others from church. My thoughts and prayers are with you that everything is going to be o.k. Barbara R. Guest guest
Oh, . How scary for you. I hope it won't be as bad as you fear. Just take care until you see the doctor. And when you fly just request a tram to take you to your gate. All you need to do is call the airlines the day before and they will arrange to have you met at the door and at all your flights. And no charge for it either Grammy Pat If you have the will to win, you have achieved half your success; if you don't, you have achieved half your failure. ~ Ambrose

Guest guest
, I am so sorry about the trouble you have been having. I am praying that the specialist will know just what needs to be done and that God will do healing to your eyes. Know we love you and that you are in many prayers and that can even do more than doctors, and if it takes the skilled hands of a Dr. and a needle, you will know that he is trained to do what needs to be done.
