Guest guest
Laurie, I was dx with osteopenia at 29..it's the first stage of osteoporosis. If your body doesn't absorb vitamins then it is possible to have it even younger. With lots of auto-immune disorders this happens..for some reason the body stops absorbing vitamins and even when taking extra sources of vitamins it won't absorb them correctly. I still have ostepenia and will most likely have osteoporosis at a young age even with the medication I am on...because again my body doesn't absorb medicines correctly either. Hope you have a better day tomorrow but at least you got some things done..I got some gifts in bags and decorated some...Just need to put up my tree tomorrow..Hugs..GinnyRoepkelaurie@... wrote: Well happy weekend to all. Jai hoping you don't break any more bones. I never heard of someone having osteoporis (sp?) at 30. I had a fun day of baking cookies. But overdo it a little Pain is a little high right now. Took my meds but they don't seem to be working that great. Just making me sleepy. Wrapped Christmas gifts and ran out of tape. Go figure. I'm still hoping to do some quilting tomorrow . Haven't been able to do much this week. Tonia that cat is very very lucky to be breathing. Making the bed can be very exhausting, it is for me. It's all that tucking. Got to go make some supper kinda late to be eating. Chicken Fahitas anyone? Hope Sunday treats us all well. Love Laurie
