I agree that the GAD65 test is definitive and again like your husband, my friend is also producing some insulin although LADA (Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults) applies. Diabetes is not a simple disease, I wish it were. I'm glad that your husband is feeling better on his new regime. Take care.
