We actually with the last two ports havent had infection, but one pulled out of the vein and was infultrating, and the second one part of it was two close to her heart and caused lots of heart problems, so they had to move it. I pray we don’t get infected, our first one was lost because of that. How is Miranda doing otherwise? love and Hailee Re: Re: Broviac Question Thanks Dawn. You are in no way a pain or a know it all. I truly appreciate all your help. My only concern with getting a port is that it will have to be accessed 3x daily each day and that it will prob. be a life long thing.
