Guest guest
Dear Janet, Yes, studies ave shown that the statins inhibit CoQ10. Before I had even heard of mito, I had a bad reaction to Pravachol. My husband takes statins, and I had noticed that he seemed to be " dragging his tail " somewhat. Now I have him taking 200 mgs/day of Tishcon's CoQ10. We'll see if it helps. One of my doctors (not a mito doc) has a father with Parkinson's disease, and he has been told to take 1,000 mgs/day, but he was wondering if it was worth it because of the high cost. I told her about Tishcon. I believe that Tishcon will only be able to raise the millons of dollars necessary for clnical trials when the drug shows promise for heart disease and for neuro problems like Parkinson's, et al. Good luck. S. PA

Guest guest
, Funny you mention Parkinson's. My mother in law, the one that fell and broke her hip, was diagnosed with it two years ago. My sister in law basically over sees her care. She is a retired RN and also worked at research at the Unviersity of Michigan. She is open to research ideas but when I told her about the Qgel and Parkinsons she said that the specialist clinic for Parkinson's in Milwaukee she took her mother to the doctor said that nothing has been proven that CoQ10 helps the Parkinson's. So, I would be interested in how the Qgel helps the father of the doctor you mention. Janet Sample Re: Lipidor, high cholesterol > Dear Janet, > Yes, studies ave shown that the statins inhibit CoQ10.
