It stressed his thumbs and wrists as well as his shoulders. The scooter was also difficult to manage in crowds or tight spaces. has a sample power chair right now that is wonderful. It turns on a dime, has much better seating support, does not strain his hand and handled well in the crowds at Sick Kids last week.
