Please give Jill my love and let her know I continue to pray for her and miss

her! How I thank you, Beth, for your updates and your friendship to her,

which is so important right now! You have a large heart - may it be filled with

love and happiness!

and all,

Funny you should mention Jill. I just had a conversation with Jill and do

have some news. She did go to the hospital today to be re-checked and they

have determined for sure that she does not have a pulmonary embolism. This

was actually determined last week, but with no real resolution for what the

problem actually is. Anyway, today there was much more investigation done

and it was identified that the portocath needs to be removed as it is a

source of infection. If Jill has it removed, she definitely needs to have

another put in as she does not have good peripheral access for IV's or

bloodwork. She is going to return tomorrow to the hospital where the

original portocath was inserted. She still isn't all that well and has

better days than others. Hopefully this will all be resolved in short

order. She will no doubt need to go back on IV antibiotics, but with a new

access site. Once that is taken care of hopefully things will resolve

quickly. She definitely needs another antibiotic and will receive that as

well.

She is still without internet and requires a technician to come to her home

to fix the problem with the modem, but because of not being well and of

seeing MD's, etc, she hasn't been able to commit to a time for an

appointment, so once she is back on the road to getting better she will be

able to book an appointment for them to come and resolve the computer

issues.
