Guest guest
As I read your posts, I often see references to " crash " '. In MS they use words like 'flare' or 'exacerbation'. What does crash mean here? ~Kathy~
Guest guest
Kathy I crash is when you are metabolically compromised - not enough energy for body systems to work. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Sat, 28 Aug 2004 19:02:58 -0000 > To: > Subject: Terminology > > > As I read your posts, I often see references to " crash " '. > > In MS they use words like 'flare' or 'exacerbation'. > > What does crash mean here? > > ~Kathy~ > > > > > > Medical advice, information, opinions, data and statements contained herein > are not necessarily those of the list moderators. Guest guest
So you sleep, are weak, can hardly get out of bed? Other symtoms become exaggerated? Have trouble functioning? And lasts anywhere from days to weeks? If so, man do I know that one. ~Kathy~ > Kathy > > I crash is when you are metabolically compromised - not enough energy for > body systems to work. > > laurie > > > From: " jstkathy52004 " > > Reply-To: > > Date: Sat, 28 Aug 2004 19:02:58 -0000 > > To: > > Subject: Terminology > > > > > > As I read your posts, I often see references to " crash " '. > > > > In MS they use words like 'flare' or 'exacerbation'. > > > > What does crash mean here? > > > > ~Kathy~ > > > > > > > > > > > > Medical advice, information, opinions, data and statements contained herein > > are not necessarily those of the list moderators. Guest guest
Kathy Sounds like a crash to me, but of course I am not a doctor. I must share with you a " funny " about the term crash. My MDA neuro asked me how I was doing at an appointment several years ago. I told him I had had a crash and he got concerned that I had been in an auto accident. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Sat, 28 Aug 2004 21:47:11 -0000 > To: > Subject: Re: Terminology > > > So you sleep, are weak, can hardly get out of bed?
