Guest guest
No, I haven't heard from her. Laurie and I have a cousin and the cousin's kids that live in Florida. We haven't heard from them either. I just keep praying that they are all OK. It was really good seeing at the conference again. Ann-Marie wrote: >Hi! > >Has anyone heard from Schwartz? Guest guest
Hi Hanna, Thank you so much for letting us know how is doing. When you talk to her please let her know that I was asking about her and thinking about her too!! Do you know if the hurricane hit her home? or did it miss her? I hope it missed her, but Charley was a very nasty hurricane indeed, and it landed far from where they estimated the landfall would be. Hope all is well down there. Hugs, Ann-Marie Hugs, Ann-Marie Re: Calling Schwartz She's ok, has been busy with moving. > Hi! > > Has anyone heard from Schwartz? Guest guest
The hurricane was supposed to hit her area but turned out it changed direction so she was very lucky. I'll let her know people are concerned about her here. I think she might be still in the process of getting her computer set up. > > Hi! > > > > Has anyone heard from Schwartz? Guest guest
Hi Ann-Marie and mito pals, I'm sorry it has taken so long for me to answer this post. Between the hurricanes, moving, health problems and computer problems, I was behind about 900 e-mails (no kidding). I'm finally going through them and am determined to clean out my mail box. I'm sorry if I have missed other posts and I hope everyone is doing well. Neither one of the hurricanes hit my county directly but we did have bad weather and some scary moments. Francis was the worst for us. The bands that hit us after the hurricane went into the gulf were really bad. I was afraid the windows would blow in they were shaking so badly. We lost power and cable but all in all we were lucky and got everything back to normal soon. The flooding has been really bad here too. We were extremely lucky that Charley turned where it did. It was only about 45 minutes down the coast from us. I don't know if my home would have withstood the wind and water. I'm thinking probably not. I am originally from Buffalo and had no idea how bad it could be. I now know and won't stay for Ivan if it comes this way. Please pray for us or keep your fingers crossed that it goes out into the gulf and doesn't come here. We cannot handle another one. We are just getting supplies like gas, milk and bread and many still don't have electricity or roofs. We are very worried. I hope everyone else in Florida has fared well. Anyone heard from and ? The blood pressure problem is a bit better thanks to a drug called Lisinopril. I did go in for a stress test. They gave me an IV with drugs to speed up my heart rate. The pain got so bad within minutes that they had to stop the test. It was horrible. Now I have to see a specialist in Tampa to figure out where to go from here. Hopefully it isn't serious. Thanks for worrying about me and caring. I'll try to post more and keep in touch. Hugs to all. S

Guest guest
, I'm so glad you posted as we are not hearing much from our Florida Mitoldies family. I think it's a good idea to get out of Ivan's way as I know the wrath of a hurricane first hand and they are so much worse in the southeast as compared to New England. Please move to a safe place and I will be thinking and praying for you as another storm approaches. This weather attack has been horrible for the state of Florida. I can't imagine how trees and buildings are going to take another hit like this. Alice

Guest guest
Glad to hear you are safe Jen. Florida has certainly been going through a wild ride lately. Not only having to go through one hurricane, but 3 in a row. Keep safe Sheila

Guest guest
Hi , I am so happy to hear from you and am pleased to hear that you are safe. I didn't know you were moving, I hope it went well and everything is in order. I have never been in a hurricane and hope i never have to experience one. I am glad that you got your blood pressure taken care of. I had one of those stress test, and they can be very painful when they increase your heart rate. Sorry that you have some problems and have to see a specialist, but am glad that the medication is working for now. Keeping you and your family in my prayers. I pray that Ivan doesn't come anywhere near where you are. This is a very scary storm, so far it has taken the lives of 65 people and that is without information from the Grand Cayman Islands. Thanks for getting back to us. Hope your feeling better. Hugs, Ann-Marie Re: Calling Schwartz Hi Ann-Marie and mito pals, I'm sorry it has taken so long for me to answer this post.
