You were very missed at the UMDF convention! But I understand fully

since you were facing surgery just a day or so after the convention.

How is your recovery coming along? Please post and let us all know how

Hi! I wish I would have been able to meet you and others at the

convention. I do know I made the right decision though, as I didn't want

to stress out my body before surgery. I am doing okay right now. I had

an interesting first week, with my J tube wanting to come out, but things

are better now. I can tell a difference with getting fluids every day.

I have had many people comment on how my color is better now. I did

start back to work, which I know was too soon, but I did not start with

students right away. I am starting to test some of them, but I can just

sit in my classroom and rest when necessary. It is good to be back,

mentally though! I am glad it is only 2 1/2 hours and I am trying to

stick to that this year. I am exhausted tonight, but have the weekend to

recover. I know that I did make the right decision in having the G/J

tube placed. Everything happens for a reason! :-)
