Guest guest
Clara, congratulations on the loss. It must be almost like heaven to be below goal. I haven't been there in so long I don't remember. Keep it up and you will be 5 below by SRD.
Guest guest
read somewhere that you HAVE to count something! Whether its calories, carbs, fats, exchanges - - you HAVE TO COUNT SOMETHING TO BE SUCCESSFUL!! I had never thought about it like that, but I agree! We can get ourselves into serious trouble if we start trying to combine plans!! It's really strange that you can watch carbs and lose (that's what I do), and my mother, who is a 10 year KOPS counts fat grams - - and it works for her! So we eat entirely different ways, but they both work. I know the exchange plan works for a lot of people - and just counting calories is foolproof! Bottom line, calories are what count anyway!! And that's my thought for the day!! LOL Clara I get in trouble every time I don't count! Portion control yes, but it works better if the calories are counted also! Am so glad you are below goal Clara! Betty
Guest guest
Thanks for all the responses to my loss last night - - and , hang in there, you can do this, my friend!! What kind of diet do you use? I read somewhere that you HAVE to count something! Whether its calories, carbs, fats, exchanges - - you HAVE TO COUNT SOMETHING TO BE SUCCESSFUL!! Guest guest
Clara, interesting about the counting different things. I do WW points with a lower carb theme. This week I decided to give the Choice is Mine a go and really stick to their menu plan hoping it would kick me over the 300 hump. Well I gained 5 pounds in 2 days! My body does not respond to all the fruit and grain and lack of protein. I am back to my regular plan today.
