Guest guest
Gosh Deb, that is just the tip of the iceberg. We have almost three acres of land with lots of different trees. Live Oak, Silver Maple, Magnolia, Tulip, Chinese Chestnut, Black Walnut, Mimosa, Pine & Sycamore just to name a few. I don't usually put the leaves in bags instead I push them onto a tarp and drag them down the hill and put them into the edge of our woods. I couldn't do that this year cause this old bod wouldn't let me. We only rake the leaves in the area in front, back and sides of the house. The rest we mulch. There's no way we could ever rake up all the leaves! Karol Leaves Karol from Deb You think that's leaves??? Last year hubby says we went thru 3 boxes of 70 bags! We have 3 huge oak trees, the neighbors have Sycamore and Hickory that hang over my fence. Other neighbor has Oak, Hickory, and Sycamore (hate those little pricks!) The last large drop we were unable to get up before the cold weather hit... Of course that wouldn't mean anything to those brave souls shoveling snow, but raking kills me! So I probably have 20 bags in my back yard right now. I've just got to get the fallen leaves out of my azaleas before they bloom! I'll be thinking of you while I'm raking Deb
