Guest guest
Hi Mike .....I did not know that about the Pen thingy......I have thought about trying acrylics.....and I used to make what I called "wood Scapes".....I would drive around out in the country, and find interesting shapes of old logs, and take them home, and clean them up, varnish them then add dried plants....seed pods....and Little figurines I would find at the little "Dollar stores "......I used scraps of leather to make "teepees" ....used Lichen to make brush. I would "kind of tell a story" in wood pieces....and just stuff I could find around to glue into place.....I still have a couple of those in my house......I sold more of my "Wood Scapes " than I did paintings. I know there are lots of ways to express my creativity.....I just haven't really gotten back into it ......I really should. Thanks for the encouragement. C. Re: Private person stuff....... C., Did you know that there is a pen attachment for your computer keyboard specificallyfor drawing and painting? I don't happen to have one because I don't need it, yet, but you might trycontacting your computer's manufacturer and seeing about one. It just goes where the mouse does,is my understanding. Also, you can use acrylics with the canvas flat or at a slight angle on a draftingtable. They dry so fast that they don't tend to run or glop like oils. Also, montage, collage, sculptureand pottery are all sitting activities that can give you the outlet, too.
