Guest guest
, If possible you should get one that goes up to 30 lbs. It is important that your baby stay rear facing until at least 30 lbs. I had the same problem with my son. Wendi Car Seat Help! Guest guest
Hey, Dawn, thanks for posting this. I was trying to remember the name of the car seat my friend recommends--but she's gone--so you saved me from embarrassment. Yep, Alpha Omega is the way to go, because you won't need a booster seat--after this one the child will fit a seat belt. Amy Lynn mother to 1-25-98 and 2-10-00 Want great toys? Guest guest
We bought a Cosco Alpha Omega for $120 from WalMart. It's a convertable carseat. I love it. It'll hold infants rearfacing up to 35 pounds, then forward facing up to 40 pounds, then a booster seat up to 80 pounds. So for about $120 you get your kid in a car seat until he weighs 80 pounds. Good for me! It's not a carrier though... It stays in the car, but slings are more fun anyway. -- Gaunt - Logan Wolf due May 9, 2001 Babies come into the world with perfect love and perfect trust. Guest guest
Hi, I got the Alpha Omega with my little one. It is an all in one goes backward and forward and from 5 to 80 pounds ( turns into a booster seat ) they are usually around 99.00 if found on sale. This may seem expensive but you can use it forever and never have to buy another car seat. Hope this helps. Dawn Mother of 2 Derrick 01/04/99, 09/25/00 Car Seat Help! Guest guest
We have a seat that is rear facing till 35 lbs. We just had our seat checked (thanks Llanda) and the Sgt told us to keep her rear facing as long as possible. Its for use from 5-80 lbs. And just happens to be on sale right now. I also had an online coupon so I got it for about $90.00 http://store.babycenter.com/baby/g/product/601/00/32/7.shtml > What did any of you do when you had a baby who was > 20 pounds/27 inches LONGGGGG before they were 1 year > old?
