He's been in his band for almost 14 months, but we started with a bad fitting band before switching to a DOCband, so his case is definitely not typical. Starting at 5-6 months you should typically be done in 3-6 months. It all depends on initial severity and growth rates. My son also started severe and has a very small, slow growing head. We see a PT in Petaluma named . If that is near you I can give you her contact #. I hear Kaiser also has a pediatric PT in SF and I'm sure they must have some in the south bay too. Good luck!!
