Hi ,

I replied offline too. He's been in his band for almost 14 months,

but we started with a bad fitting band before switching to a DOCband,

so his case is definitely not typical. Starting at 5-6 months you

should typically be done in 3-6 months. It all depends on initial

severity and growth rates. My son also started severe and has a very

small, slow growing head.

We see a PT in Petaluma named . If that is near you I can

give you her contact #. I hear Kaiser also has a pediatric PT in SF

and I'm sure they must have some in the south bay too. Good luck!!

This is a great group for support!

Sheila, mom to , 19 months

P.S. He did get much better! Even with all the missteps he's gone

from 14mm to 4mm asymmetry. A definite improvement!

is 209-931-0676. How long was he in the band?? Can you recommend a

therapist. My baby is 5 mo - I am so so so sad and scared. I am at

work - will be home after 3pm.
