Guest guest
, first of all I'm sorry that you're still not feeling better. I don't know how much steroids you get, but chances are you can't get enough sleep because of the high you get from steroids. It happens to many of us. I'm usually a sound sleeper, but on high dosages of prednisone I'm lucky if I get 4-5 hours of sleep. Now, steroids may also be causing your arms and legs to feel really heavy usually due to fluid retention from this medication. Still, that may not be the reason. I've gotten off prednisone recently and my arms and legs feel real heavy on many days. Speak to your doctor about this. I know sometimes they can actually help you, although my doctor hasn't been able to say anything about my recent extended period of weakness and complete exhaustion. I hope you feel better soon. I got really depressed the last time I felt like that and depression is not something I ever get. I'm sorry I can't give you actual advice on what to do to feel better. I haven't been able to help myself much either, so I'm no expert. The only thing I did was rest, rest, rest and drink plenty of water.
