Hey, Brat, I wish. No shopping for this lady until payday. And, then it's just groceries until my

youngest's birthday on the 3rd. I, for one, have been trying to take down the living room drapes

to wash them. I'm half afraid the only thing holding them together is the dirt. They've been up for

almost 8 years. Isn't that disgusting? Ick. I don't know what I was thinking...must have been a major

brain fart to forget them for this long. So, I am doing one window at a time. So far, I have gotten

the drapes off two windows, one set is in the washer and one in the dryer. I won't be able to rehang

them until I can clean the windows, and one of them is behind the entertainment center in the corner,

so I'll have to get Randy to climb up on a stool and use a towel covered broom to bring down all

the dust and cobwebs. I have been resting in between each little task, so as not to get so tired. I

slept most of the weekend away, when I wasn't doing errands that couldn't wait. I was so exhausted

after one trip through Costco on Saturday morning with my adopted mother, that I came home in

tears. Must be a combination of the damp, cold weather and the stress with the school this last

week. My body is rebelling big time.

I told Normi I am setting up a dinner party for six on the 13th of March to celebrate St. Paddy's. I

used to give a corned beef dinner for 40 every year, complete with Irish folk songs and all. But, I am

just not up to that any more. I sure miss all the entertaining I used to do sometimes...along with

camping...painting trips...hiking...eesh...better stop thinking about what I can't do and concentrate on

what I CAN. No pity parties for this gal. Nuh-uh. Gotta take the first drape out of the dryer.

Hm, pretty quiet here today. Did everybody go shopping?
