Guest guest
I spoke with Kaitlyn's craniofacial Dr. tonight and he said to discontinue the helmet due to the optic nerves being elevated. We will wait until they do an MRI on September 13th to see if it is okay to continue with her helmet. I am sooo disappointed and I don't want to see any regression since she has made such good progress. I sure hope we can continue with her helmet after the MRI. Please keep her in your prayers as we go forth with the MRI as the optic nerves being elevated can indicate tumors, hydrocephalus, intracranial pressure, or bleeding, none of which are good... I will prepare myself for whatever the outcome is but I pray that they will find nothing of concern in her MRI. Thank You, Naomi
