Resting heart rate Age or fitness level

Beats per minute (bpm)

Babies to age 1:

100–160

Children ages 1 to 10:

60–140

Children age 10+ and adults:

60–100

Well-conditioned athletes:

40–60

I think it varies quite a bit but I shoot for around 72. For years when I was

very hypo it hung around 59-60 and that was considered an Athlete's pulse... LOL

At 90 they think you are in trouble...
