Guest guest Posted February 4, 2001 Report Share Posted February 4, 2001 To & Judie, With the 80 cm common channel length, did either of you have problems with diarrhea? I haven't figured out if diarrhea is a common after affect, if you will, in all DS'rs or just some. A friend of mine at work, just had the Fobi done, and the reason she went with Fobi is because she had heard so much about dreaded diarrhea. I just think it would be a small price to pay, for a surgery that will effectively help to eleminate my super morbid obese condition permanently, and with only one surgery. My biggest concern is only going thru this once. Revision is not a word I want in my vocabulary, and I have heard with RNY & Fobi, with a high BMI revision is likely. So if I'm going to possibly have any problem with diarrhea, I'd rather know now and prepare for it, or learn all I can to avoid it. Boy I sure ramble on and on don't I. Thanks for your input ladies!
